My Judo path began at my local dojo in Osaka, Japan. I started Judo when I was 10 years old. I was not good at any sports, even rolling. Steadily I improved my skills, made lifetime friends, and had many amazing experiences thanks to Judo.My last competition was the All Japan College Judo Tournament in 2017.
I am so excited to move forward on our Judo path with you all!

As a Judoka, my goal is to share my Judo knowledge and techniques, and teach Judo based on the spirit of Kano Jigoro Shihan. I also have the same belief as Judo Mike Sensei to “Be safe, be happy, and Have GOODTIMEs!”. Once you step in the Dojo, we are the same. Everybody is a practitioner, including Judo Mike Sensei and I. As long as we wear our Judo Gi, the Judo path will continue.

In Judo, it means the maximum efficient use of energy, thinking carefully and acting effectively. Also it is not only for Judo, you can use this idea in everyday life, at school, at work, or in team work. It means using your abilities in the smartest and most positive way, solving problems with wisdom, not just power.
自他共栄 - Jita-Kyoei
This teaches us the idea that we grow and succeed together by helping and respecting each other. When you train together, throwing (Tori) and being thrown (Uke), you both learn and grow. If you only try to win or hurt your partner, neither of you will improve. It’s also not only for Judo. It can be used in everyday life. When we support others, we also become better ourselves.
